Anything and everything vaguely internet related. Blogging, industry, social media: if you can find it online, I've talked about it in here.

Referral Logs

I’ve been keeping an eye on my referral logs since I released BB3.1 so I know who’s using it and so I can keep track of potential bugs or ideas for new features (thinking about BB3.2 already!) So, when I came across a forum earlier and saw the words “I refuse to use Bella Book”… read full entry »

Frickin’ BE Browsing

I’ve been browsing around using BlogExplosion for the past 20 minutes or so, waiting for Karl to finish work. It’s ideal for moments like this when I’m bored out of my skull but can’t be arsed to do anything constructive like script writing.. only, there’s one big problem. I find an interesting blog, think of… read full entry »

Hoorah! BellaBook3.1

As promised, it is now Friday and here I am finally releasing BellaBook3.1. I must admit, there was a bit of last minute panic. I didn’t think I was going to release it on time because all of a sudden errors that weren’t there before starting appearing — despite not having edited any files. I… read full entry »

spammy emails

Spam makes me laugh. A college d1pl0mva can help you get a better job now. ..apparently a college diploma can’t help you to get better at spelling though. Tut tut. Diplomas from PRESTlGlOUS NON-ACCREDlTED UNlVERSlTlES Someone should tell the spammer that some unknown mean person has switched their i and | (sshh Echo!) keys. :p

BellaBook Bug Testing

Bored with the utter tripe on TV on New Years Eve I finally got off my lazy arse and decided to do something with BellaBook before I completely forgot how to code and integrate flat files and before it withered away into a pile of pants php poop. Say that 3 times fast I dares… read full entry »

Review of furious-angel.com

Reviewed: Vixx Site URL: furious-angel.com I’m reviewing your default layout. It’s hard to sum up a first impression when I see a site at least three-four times daily to check to see if there’s any new weblog updates. You must be doing something right to keep me coming back so regularly though. There’s something so… read full entry »

All he wanted was a best friend… I forgot to mention that I made a Katy fanlisting a couple of weeks ago. So, if you thing Katy is great you should check out Geekerific. Don’t you think it’s the most original name ever? And of course, you could always check out my fanlisting while you’re… read full entry »

Style Loading Time

I have known for a long time that there is a difference between the load time of a site using inline styles and a site using a stylesheet: I didn’t realise how much difference! I uploaded my own without finishing things off, really — I’d forgotten to move my style to a stylesheet and hadn’t… read full entry »

Firefox 1.5 and Custom Cursors

So, I’ve come to realise over the past few days (and would have realised sooner had I read the change log) that Firefox 1.5 allows custom cursors (i.e. graphical cursors). This is something that wasn’t allowed before (by Firefox; IE does) and surely should also be classed, like coloured scrollbars, as part of the OS/browser… read full entry »
