You know you’re officially an old lady when you start collecting empty glass jars, because they might come in handy. Worse, when someone questions why you have said empty glass jars, you feel inclined to justify their purpose… because chucking them in the recycling bin would be too painful by far. Just shoot me now.

It’s been somewhat windy the past couple of days, brought to a head this afternoon with a loud crack as our already-damaged apple tree split in half.
