Moved Feed Provider
Due to continued problems with Feedburner and the ever-present rumour that Google intends to shut it down, I have moved my feed provision (both normal subscriptions and email) to FeedBlitz. Please can you ensure that, if you subscribe to my feed, you are subscribed to www.jemjabella.co.uk/feed as this will always point to the right place.
Email subscriptions have been imported and you don’t need to do anything.
I’ve updated my subscribing to jemjabella.co.uk page to reflect the changes.

I wish there was a free alternative to Feedburner! I’ve been thinking about abandoning Feedburner myself, but the only solution I have is to just use WP’s own feed and some feed stat plugin + email subscription plugin.

Scratch that, I found a Feedburner alternative that is actually FREE. URI.lv ! I will try it out.

Mailchimp has free RSS to email services for under 2000 subscribers (I think) – one to bear in mind :)

I was unable to subscribe, my feed client complains about unfinished tags in the feed.

Sorry, I was not paying enough attention :(
I was trying http://www.jemjabella.co.uk/feed with Thunderbird and since it’s returning html not xml it didn’t know what to do with it. I guess it doesn’t retrieve rss url itself from any page but expects url to return xml.

Sorry about that, feedblitz serves it up as ‘browser friendly’ – try http://feeds.feedblitz.com/jemjabella&x=1 instead :)

Already did that. Perhaps you want to provide a redirect for that though, so it is still possible to subscribe to https://www.jemjabella.co.uk in case you switch providers again in the future ;)
