I’ve been struggling to think of something to buy for Oliver’s birthday present. What do you buy for the boy who already has it all (by way of a sister with a large quantity of toys, books etc). I’ve asked relatives who enquired to buy him clothes (in size age 2-3, ha!) but have been… read full entry »
I’m having a blog identity crisis. My blog turned 11 years old at the end of last month. Eleven years of writing, recording, growing, maturing – some of it is lost but the majority of which is here for everyone to see, read, judge. Instead of making plans to celebrate the occasion I’ve been making… read full entry »
A couple of weeks ago I watched a bloke put his daughter / granddaughter, who is the same age as Isabel, in the front passenger seat of his car & drive off. No booster seat, no car seat. I think he only put the seatbelt on her because I was staring in disbelief (he didn’t… read full entry »

Further to my last dairy free post, where you’ll remember I moaned that everything contains dairy, I set about creating a meal plan for the week (having seriously lost my mojo with the whole planning thing since going dairy free) and hit a bit of a stumbling block when I realised that both of my… read full entry »

Yes indeedy, as of Monday (yesterday) Karl started working part time: that is, 8am-1pm in his existing job. You can read the various… read full entry »
In Wales this weekend – don’t miss me too much :)
Excuse typos, blogging from my phone. It’s now over a week since I went dairy free to see if it would improve Oliver’s mood / sleep / digestion. Since then: # Oliver is sleeping better. # We’ve not had any night-long screaming. # We’re seeing an overall improvement in mood in general with things that… read full entry »
