Epic Tree Fail
It’s been somewhat windy the past couple of days, brought to a head this afternoon with a loud crack as our already-damaged apple tree split in half. I’m not surprised, the entire thing was swinging around like crazy! That’ll have to be cut down now, it’s obviously unstable.
Still, it was nice while it lasted.
In non-tree/wind related news, I’ve put in a combined total of about 11 hours on NinjaLinks and BellaBuffs Collective this weekend (and revised for/sat my first exam for course module two; aren’t I productive!)

Yay productivity! I dread to think how long I’ve been online this weekend… But I too have been productive! Sorry to hear about your tree.

Ooh poor apple tree!
I actually spent some time away from this computer this bank holiday and took two nice long walks with my Doggles. All of us are very tired now!
Hope your exam went ok!

Just patch it up with some sellotape. Sorted.

Gaffa tape? Maybe. What about sellotape, gaffa tap and blue tac? Just for the hell of it?
Oh and staples.

Oh poor tree. Willows tend to do that where I come from because it’s too cold for them and they rot from inside.
Hurray for productivity! I’m looking forward for BB Collective, you practically never talk about it.

Before you mourn the loss of the apple tree, take a look down my garden. 2 years ago I sawed right down the ground to remove the big apple tree here, darn thing is now back up to 4 feet high and climbing! If you leave the stump it will grow back.
Well done on your revision too :)

Before you cut down the tree be sure to look into the need of a permit, here you need permits (depending on what council you’re in) even for trees in that state.
