How Embarrassing
I’ve not long come out of a meeting with a client. Sat down to make a phone call, crossed my legs.. only to realise that the price sticker is still on the bottom of my new(ish) shoes.
Oh dear.

LOL
atleast you didn’t have a price tag dangling down the back of your dress/top.

I’ve had that happen to me. Only, I’ve caught it before anyone noticed. I think there was once when I saw someone with the tag still dangling from the collar of their shirt.

I did that once with pants, I apparently still had the very long and large sticker on the back of my leg and didnt notice it until AFTER school..

@Stepherz: £9.50 – most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever worn!

It happens to all of us… we just hope they don’t happen very often! :)

Chances are nobody saw them if they were under your shoe … besides, I think having the price tag dangling from your shirt or pants is so much worse than a price sticker on the bottom of your shoes – you SEE the price tag when you put on your clothes, but you don’t always see the price sticker under your shoes when you put them on, you know?

I watched some high fashion chick strut around the mall once in her little pencil skirt, which would have been a nice look and all if she had remembered to cut the little ‘x’ of string at the bottom of the small back slit…

That’s not so bad. One time, my brother walked out of the house with a huge pant size/advertisement sticker along the back of his jeans.

Teehee. Well, at least it was under your shoes (and how do I hate that they STAPLE the price into the sole, bleh).
I once walked around town with a bright orange “PAID” sticker from a groceries store on the back of my thigh. Thankfully a kind old lady stopped me and told me it was there…

Oops! I guess it happens. I don’t remember something similar happening to me, but I remember when my first boyfriend was going to meet my dad, he was so nervous that he forgot to peel off the long size-sticker that ran from the top of his shirt to the bottom.
small
small
small
small
small
etc…
It was really funny, and at the same I felt sorry for him and didn’t know how to point it out without embarrassing him too much. Good thing I got to tell him before meeting with my dad.
Don’t sweat the show-ticket, and make sure it doesn’t happen with clothes, lol.

Yeah, at least it wasn’t something like an XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL sticker on your pants. :P

That happened to me a few weeks ago, when I bought a new dress for my brother’s graduation ceremony. I thought people were looking at me since the dress looked so cute on me (in my own opinion, of course)… until my mother whispered to me, “your price tag is still showing in the back!”

I once bought jeans and they had one of those alarm things on (I didn’t notice). I went out of the shop fine – it didn’t go off. I got home and realized they didn’t really fit me too well afterall, so I went to take them back.. walked in and the alarm went off. CRINGE. I hadn’t even seen it, so glad I decided to take them back!

That’s not as bad as forgetting to take the size sticker off your jeans. Hah. Still funny though!

At least you’re not a particularly large girl with an XXL tag running down your back. ;) I’ve had that one happen! Not fun at all.

My dad runs a financial advisors company, so he visits clients a lot. Once, he was running me to school before he went in for a meeting and I noticed that there was still an electronic security tag on his suit jacket. :P Obviously, these aren’t just things you can snap off – he had to change. Surprised the cashier didn’t remove it, and the security guard/my dad didn’t notice when he walked through the door. :P
Besides that, my brother once had one of my mum’s BRAS (yes, a bra!) stuck to the velcro on the hood of his coat (on his back, so obviously he didn’t notice it). We were out, and my mum quickly tugged it from him and showed me and made me swear not to tell him he’d just been walking around town with a bra stuck to his back!

I sit with one leg crossed over the other a lot – chances are high at least one person saw my price tag ;)
