Hex’s Free Geek T-shirt
I received an e-mail from Andrew over at Force 18 a couple of days ago (the 11th) complimenting my geek t-shirt collection, offering to send me a free t-shirt. It’s a great marketing ‘trick’, because not only will I now be aware of the website and quite feasibly buy from it in the future, but there’s the chance I’d plug it here too. (Hint to other companies: please send me free shit. Thanks!) Anyway, not one to miss out on an opportunity, I picked out I blog, therefore I am.
I was a little worried because it’s not every day you get someone asking for your address via e-mail, and in the picture the t-shirt looked quite skinny. My ample bosom rules out any skinny tees :p
Anyway, to my surprise the freebie arrived at my mum’s this morning! She brought it over earlier and I’m quite impressed to be honest. The t-shirt is a thicker material (compared to some of my others) which is a total bonus because I’m not too keen on wearing jumpers and yet the normal cost is the same as a syswear tee. It’s branded on the sleeve, which I’m not too keen on, but otherwise definitely want to add more Force 18 t-shirts to my collection.
Of course, the only problem now is getting it off Hex…

My cat (y’know, before he died…) always did that to my clothes. Brand new stuff, just pulled out of their bags, and it was like a cat magnet or something. @Everyone: Go use the new layout on the styleswitcher because it’s my favorite :)

My cats and dog do that all the time. I’ll either come in and catch them, or pick something up a few days later, and be like “UGH! I AM COVERED IN FUR!” For example, looking at the floor next to me, I can see that I will now need to pick different pyjamas tonight, for Spice (dog) is using my bottoms as a pillow.

It seems that the website has suffered “The Jem Effect”, It’s gone down! Incidentally, that has happened to a couple of my sites when you link to me, but I forgive you :D

You sure that’s not just your connection Rhys? It’s working for me, and I’m on shit-scali!

that’s not a tshirt – it’s quite obviously a shiny new cat blanket

Aww, cute Hex! My cat must lay on anything and everything that is mine. If I’m reading a book; she must lie on the book. If I am folding laundry; she must lie on the laundry. Cats need to be the center of attention so that you will take notice and blog about them. :D

Oh, cute! My cat loves clothes too. She always lies down on my towels if I happen to put them down on the bed for a couple of minutes after using them,

Now Jem, Hex just wants to make sure you don’t forget about him. Plus, what a better blanket then a t-shirt from you?

Hex looks like an adorable fluff-ball. I want to grab him. He sure has inherited traits from you, though, that’s for sure. I mean about geeky t-shirts, not being fluffy. Is it me, or do you often hint about your ample bosom?

From the sound of your title I thought Hex had been given some cat clothing :D. The t-shirt is cool and the fact that it was a freebie is a bonus.

Look on the bright side Jem…It’s a black cat on a black T shirt. Think of how much more annoying it would be if he was cream coloured like my cat is :) He does look comfy though…how could you contemplate moving him off?

When ever you have entry about Hex, I sent a link to my boyfriend, because he loves cats (well… me too). He wants Hex. Hex looks so cute ^_^.

I often worry about shirt sizes because of my “ample” bosom, so I totally feel your pain. lol. It seems that you don’t even have to worry about the shirt fitting now, because Hex has claimed it! And obviously, from the picture, it fits him just perfectly.

@Shannon: Come now, you know we all love hearing about Jem’s ample bosom. Favorite topic of all!

I often end up with shirts that are too large for the rest of me because of my own ample bosom. :P Shopping online is particularly difficult for shirt sizes because I usually end up with shirts that are way too small or way too huge. Boo, why can’t there be a size standard? ;)

Jem, I am shocked–SHOCKED–that you would wear such a shirt after Hex has been on it. Haven’t you seen those PETA ads saying, “I’d rather go naked than wear fur”?? Obviously, they need to produce more of those ads because there still exist such callous people as yourself who will blatantly wear fur, and wear it proudly. *haughty sniff*

awee. Hex is 9 kinds of adorable!! I have an ample bosom too, so i feel your pain. i either look like i’m wearing a tent cause it’s too big, or i stretch the logo cause the chest is too tight. woe is me.
