I’ve decided to ‘unofficially’ take part in NaBloPoMo. When I say unofficially, I mean I don’t intend to sign up to the site or any special communities. This is for two reasons: 1) because that sort of social-networking and distraction is unwanted contact with other people (I know, I’m an antisocial twat) and 2) because when I fail miserably and can’t keep up a blogging pattern I have the excuse that hey, I wasn’t really taking part.
With that said, I am going to try and set myself some rules/goals. I want to try and make at least half of the posts meaningful. So, instead of simply blogging about my day I will try to post the next article in the Beginners Guide to PHP, write a post on Google’s PageRank or something else constructive and interesting. You know, so I don’t bore you all to death. I also want to set a specific word count minimum so I can’t get away with just posting an ‘Asides’ every day but I don’t know if I’m brave enough.
Of course, good intentions aren’t always met so if you want to start making guesses on how quickly I’ll fail, feel free. I’m going to suggest November 3rd because there’s nothing like being a cynic (and I’ve already wrote my post for tomorrow).

I’m already on one ‘blogging daily’ challenge and I’ve pretty much won that (HUZZAH!) so I might sign up for this too. You have to love daily blogging and non-pointless blogging. I might try and blog about something other than random celebrities and myself.. It’s a tough job but somebody’s got to do it!

Well, good luck! I’m going to attempt NaNoWriMo this year, so NaBloPoMo is out of the question! I’d go crazy with all that writing! And at this rate, when I start work next week, I won’t be sleeping until 2am, and getting up at 6am. Ahh the horror of it all! In any case, I shall try to drop by everyday to see what you have said!

I was writing something logical and relevent, but I just looked over at my doggy and he’s lying on my mum’s head, upside down with his head & nose poked into the air… lol Anyway, back on topic – can’t wait for the constructive posts… especially on things I want to learn about, like google page rank…!

Cool! I fail at any kind of blogathon though. Seriously, once I commit to it, it’s just something to procrastinate on. However, I’m doing NaNoWriMo because… well… I can handle that a lot more. Yay for novels!

The last time I tried a blogging daily, I lost it the very next day. I just can’t think of things to talk about to my readers everyday. So I just blog when I have something to say, though I am going to try for a every Friday, I found this neat site that asks you questions every Friday. I think I am going to try for that but then again I may even fail at that.
