The Only Problem

..with writing a huge essay on something exciting like Crazy B's drama is that it's hard to top it. I mean, I could tell you all about how Hex has decided he doesn't like the middle stage of the Litter Kwitter and would rather shit on the floor, but you don't need to know that (we're going back to the beginning, for what it's worth.)

I could tell you that Site5 have boosted their affiliate payments from $20 to $85 last month, and therefore all pending referrals that have matured in the past few days have given me a nice boost of pre-birthday cash, but you probably don't want to know about that either (and they say you can't make money on your site unless you blogstitute it!)

I could even tell you that it was my first day back at work since the Christmas break today too, but you probably don't care that it was dead and I spent the majority of the day working on internal jobs.

There's nothing left for it then, is there? I'll just have to not blog today. Oh, damnit...

Well if you're not going to blog today, then I'm not going to comment on said blog. ;)

Yeah, this was far less exciting. I'm a little put-off actually. Lol. No. Actually, that was much more interesting than anything I've written in the last.... 7 years. :P

I Love love LOVE her nickname, 'Crazy B'. It's great. Site 5 Affiliate program sounds good. 1and1 have one, but after referring some people they tell me they don't pay out for those that buy .co.uks - only hosting... grrr

If it can make you feel better, I must say the word "blogstitute" was worth reading.

  5. Rhiannon   January 3rd, 2008 [gravatar]

    Haha, blogstitute, that's a good one ;)

  6. Jordie   January 3rd, 2008 [gravatar]

You could always make something up.

  7. Grant   January 3rd, 2008 [gravatar]

Yea you should probably not blog and gather some thoughts and ideas and come back to it another day.

*Ahem* A nice pants post would be nice. Although, you basically did a major pants on Barbi... damn, you're right. You might as well give up. :P

    Whoops there goes that plan...

Okay you have convinced me 100% to join site5 affiliate program. If it works for you, why not me? :P I have one teesy question, how often do they pay out money? Do they pay via PayPal?

  11. Jem   January 3rd, 2008 [gravatar]

@Regina: They pay when you request the money basically - there is a minimum payout of $85 but you earn that with one referral. They pay via paypal, or if you host with site5 you can choose for them to credit your account so you don't have to pay in the future. The only "but" is that a referral has to mature before you earn anything. So, if someone signs up with your referral link, it takes 60 days from the date that person signs up for any money to get to you.

Sorry to hear of Hex's little hiccup, do keep trying though, I am sure he will eventually get the hang of it :o)

That's annoying about Hex, but there's still hope. Heh congrats about the "pay rise"! As for work, sometimes it's really much more pleasant to do all that stuff. I remember one day I helped my boss wrap some devices that had to be sent to a contest, for about 1/2 an hour. Made a nice change from the usual squinting at the screen and debugging =P But don't worry, you'll get enough to work soon enough.

I wish my cat would learn how to use a Litter Kwitter. But he's 15, so he's wayyyy too old. And, jem, little missy, you better lift your head up and write some posts! I found "Crazy B's" rant quite amusing in my day of boredom.

  15. Morgan   January 3rd, 2008 [gravatar]

Crazy B's rant was indeed awesome, amusing and a hell of a way to escape boredom. Guess indeed nothing can top that. Oh well, a non-comment on a post that is a non-post is not that bad either, or is it?

There's always drama lurking around the internet. I'm sure you'll find something juicy to write about soon. :)

I had no idea about the affiliate program on site5. I am just in the process of buying a new account to my parents on site5, since their current host is pants. But I do not know if I could get that to count as a referral.

Ahaha, even when you have nothing to blog about, your blogs seem tobe entertaining as ever :) Poor Hex, he'll get the hang of it sooner or later ;) Thanks for your offer with helping me and my paint header! I really appreciate that. What would do you like me to do. Should I email you the header, or would you like me to post the header on my site as a .bmp? Thanks again.

I love the word Blogstitute! I'm going to use it more and more :)
