Got bored a few weeks ago so put this together. Have nothing deep and meaningful to say about it, which is lucky because typing one-handed takes forever. :p Mind you, I can’t remember the last time I had two hands free for typing. With that said, I’ve not tested it in anything other than Firefox – see aforementioned one-handed excuse. Any bugs are likely to go unfixed.
Seems to be a problem with the tags, bear with me… Fixed, no thanks to PHP (stupid bug)
Thank you to Lilian for modifying these icons for my header.

Looks okay on Chrome/Snow Leopard. :]
Sexy.

It’s… bright.

Looks great in Chrome & Safari !

It’s like vintage Jem! :P It’s nice. I’m 85% sure that I enjoy the shade of orange. Link colour is a bit reminiscent of icky default colour, ack.
Did you code this with one hand as well? Because that would be impressive.

It looks nice. Very Jem-ish. :P I really like the header. *nod nod*
31 Jan at 9:20 pm
I did, Aisling – hence why it’s taken so long to get it up!
31 Jan at 9:23 pm
YES back to Jem style! I’m just not fond of the colors so nothing a little Stylish can’t fix. Other than that definitely love it :)

Very nice layout :) Not a fan of the three columns though, it shifts the blog posts a little too much to the left for me, but I’ll deal xD
31 Jan at 9:48 pm
I’m not sure how I feel about the 3 columns (personal preference more than anything else) but other than that it looks great!
31 Jan at 9:51 pm
I really like the colors and placement of elements on the page! :)
The only bug I see is with the read more links on the homepage: http://i50.tinypic.com/2yxpsti.png

It’s sooo white. I like it, but it is lots o’white. I think I preferred the previous one a little more. The simplicity is nice though.

Layout looks amazing! :D The colors are very nice. Bright but not kill my eyes bright!
Like always you are ultimately better than me! hehe!
31 Jan at 10:22 pm
I’ve just been sick…
Sorry Jem but what are you thinking, this theme is beyond words, have you taken leave of any taste you had?
31 Jan at 10:27 pm
Thanks Peter ;)

I like the bright orange. ./nod
And I liked the three columns too! (just read the comments and i see i’m kinda alone in that ~_~)
I think going bright shades of green instead of blue would have been awesome, but i’m a little odd like that.
And love all things white and bright! ~_~

Your ‘read more’ links are overlapping with the tags and number of comments, but otherwise the layout looks quite nice. :)

I’m having the same issue as Vasili with the read more links (Firefox). I like the use of icons! :)
Did you shorten your about page when you updated as well?
01 Feb at 1:04 am
Yay, orange and blue! I think the colours look great, and the content area needs a little more orange :D
I really like the subtle texture in the header.

I quite like it, possibly better than the previous one (mostly cause I’m not that much of a blue+clouds fan). I’d have preferred to possibly have solid stripe for the footer as well (same shade of blue as the navigation).
Oh, and one more quirk. Not sure if this is intended or not, but when I hover over the links, the solid blue background goes on for a few more pixels on the bottom. If you think that’s nitpicking, you should hear what my clients say on design "issues" :P

I’m with Peter Green here, my ten pence worth… me no like.
The columns is ok, can cope with that but the colour of the header…eek way too bright. I have problems with so much white too.
01 Feb at 1:31 pm
OMG, it’s the blue-orange contrast! (See: http://www.slashfilm.com/2009/11/27/orangeblue-contrast-in-movie-posters/ )
01 Feb at 1:53 pm
Wait wait wait… that’s supposed to be ORANGE?
01 Feb at 1:57 pm
Well no, actually. It’s red on my screen!
