I Need Guest Posters

Yes indeedy, I need guest posters. I have a multitude of projects which I’m desperately trying to get off the ground but don’t want to launch as empty websites; I also have a couple I want to boost with traffic before I go back to work (as I’m expecting Nov-Dec to be bloody busy). As such I need some guest posts…

  • Are you a geek mum? — I’m after some geeky posts. It doesn’t matter what you’re geeky about… gaming, blogs, movies, whatever. Can you write a few paragraphs about your favourite subject? Can you review something recently released?
  • Are you a WAHM mum with a website? — I’m looking for some WAHM websites to feature on a new site aimed at WAHMs to help them build and promote their business without breaking the bank and without a degree in computer science. Could also do with any basic guides to pwning your niche from SEO experts out there.
  • Are you a designer or developer? — the changes to tutorialtastic are nearly done but it needs some fresh stuff to go with the improved older tutorials. If you know about design or developing and have an idea for a tutorial that is not already covered I want to hear from you.
  • Are you a whiz reviewer?rev.iew.me needs some guides to boost the help section. How to write decent reviews, how to accept bad reviews, how to write reviews for specific websites etc etc.

That’ll do for now. I may be adding a couple more things to this post so feel free to check back if you’re interested in writing guest posts but don’t ‘qualify’ for those above. If you do qualify and are interested, shoot me a mail at jem@jemjabella.co.uk. Include a link to your blog or a sample of your work. Can’t pay you because I’m a tightass broke at the minute, but you’ll get links to a site of your choice both on the individual entry and here on this blog. Ta sweeties :3

  1. How about another CSV tutorial — accessing the data?

  2. That sounds like a great idea and I am sure you will be able to find many people that can help. I would love to help you in some way, but I am not sure if I would be that wonderful or cover anything that someone could do better. Maybe I’ll think about it and see if I can think of some way. :)

  3. I wouldn’t mind doing a php/xml tutorial maybe…

  4. John: I could have sworn, I read something like that on tutorialtastic.

In any case, all this sounds interesting. Is there a deadline? I’m not saying anything certain, but I could perhaps do it… provided my computer doesn’t spaz out on me…

  5. @Vera Tutorialtastic has a tutorial on processing the data and writing to the file. In case I was not clear, I suggested a tutorial on accessing the data from the file. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I just wanted to clear things up. :)

  6. I new a few WAHMs that are just starting up so any info from your experienced guest posters will be really useful to them. Sorry I cant help, I’m no a WAHM and the only thing I talk about is cloth nappies – by the way are you still using them?

@Michelle: I am still using cloth – mostly bumgenius, but with a few fuzzibunz and terries mixed in :)

  8. Hey Jem I’m a WAHM! I used to blog at intotherain.org but no longer blog I only read blogs when I can. I love what you’ve done with this website and I love reading your mommy posts. Congrats on your daughter btw!

  9. I have been into blogging for a while but am enjoying it so much more now that I can do it via the blogpress iPhone app, that of any interest to you?
