Continuing to Grow CSSbake

 |  Interwebs

Remember on January 1st, I posted about the release of the new CSSbake? Well, I thought some of you might like an update :)

For starters, we’ve just hit 999 unique hits this month. This is a good figure for a website that was effectively raised from the dead — and I’m sure Ben wouldn’t mind me saying so!

Just after release, Ben decided to redo the layout again to make it more “cake-y” and Brent provided a new header image/logo. On top of this, we’ve added more categories and tons more ingredients, creating a database of inspiration to help you improve your website (except, I just sit there getting jealous at all the creativity!)

If you’ve not checked out CSSbake yet, it’s about time you did :P

Wow! CSSBake is really neat. I certainly added it to my bookmarks. And 999 unique hits is great! The cakes in the header are very cute and the whole thing is very inspiring.

CSSbake is great. I love the idea of the cookbook. There are a lot of tutorial sites around as well as other css websites, but a combination of the both is hard to come by :).

Hopefully there will be more in the cookbook soon!

I like the new header but I don’t think it goes well with the rest of the layout.. :( Brent is so very talented so that’s not what I am saying at all. It just seems like the header is for a cutesy young girl’s site, not a 1337 CSS site.
