Two Dollars to the Pound

…or near enough! Seriously, now is the time to be buying geek t-shirts.

I’ve just bought three new t-shirts (I know, I know) from ThinkGeek which — including the ridiculous cost of delivering them from the States — have cost me less than three from syswear.com would have and they don’t charge for delivery. (If you’re interested, I bought Binary People, Geek Inside and meh.)

If the exchange rate stays this good I’ll have to buy a new wardrobe…

Yikes, it’s been quite high for a while, and I’ve not thought of doing anything like this (buying from US sites.) Tut@me…

Awesome shirts. There are so many I want to buy but the whole sizing thing puts me off because I’m lazy with returns, so if it doesn’t fit then I’ll end up stuck with it without being able to wear it. :p

I love geeky t-shirts. If I wasn’t so Abercrombie & Fitch like everyone else at my school, I’d wear them. A lot.

From Tshirt Site: Some folks think they are Ninjas… Some people just KNOW they are, don’t they Jem!?!

Wah! *flushes her New Zealand dollars down the toilet* I wish the New Zealand dollar was worth 2 American… but no, it’s worth something like 60 cents at the moment. Don’t even get me started on the pound! I want a new wardrobe from ThinkGeek too! (P.S. The links on the footer of your purple style override are just a tad hard to see on my monitor. A lighter shade would make a big difference!)

The Binary People t-shirt is hilarious and you also have to love the descriptions they write for their t-shirts on thinkgeek. I love the description for the ‘meh’ t-shirt’.

I cannot afford them & I live in the states. My oldest kid (hubby I mean) would love the binary finger one he informs me.

Aha. Does that mean it would be a good time to buy all the clothing I want to from anthropologie? Perhaps not…

That’s another on the long list of reasons “why i want to live in England”.

Bad news for those of us with Adsense! My payment has gone from £65 to £50 :(

I’ve had a few items sitting in my wishlist for awhile now. Been too lazy and cheap to buy some shirts, but I’ve got a few that I’m buying for Mark’s birthday. The “meh” shirt is on there simply because I hear him say it ALL the time.I wish they had more nintendo stuff though; That way I could get it all from one place and have to deal with just one shipping charge.. But it looks like I’ll have one from TG, one from Cyanide and Happiness (this one pooping shirt IS mark) and another from Splitreason (“Next-Gen gaming t-shirt”). … “meh” :P

I want them, but I doubt I’d ever buy them myself…it’s just too much of a chore. Besides, I don’t think it’s legal for a fourteen-year-old to have a credit card. Well, it’s not a sane idea, at least. Otherwise, I’d have quite a few of the geek t-shirts!

Ummm… yeah I definitely wouldn’t buy geek t-shirts. They are soooooooooo expensive!!! About once a year I buy my boyfriend a new geek shirt from there, but that’s it. If those shirts were in stores, on sale for $5 a piece, then yeah I would seriously buy them up.

What’s the shipping like to get it over there?

So many great shirts, so little ways to get them without waking the beast that is customs fees. Sigh.

Stupid dollar is diminishing… As an American, I blame all of the annoying uncontrollable forces that I can’t control. But getting a new wardrobe is always good.

Well you’re sure as hell a good T-Shirt saleswoman/lobbyist… now I want to order a couple. The overrides are great. :] maybe if you just add a link to them on the “Website” Page too… it took me 20 minutes to find the tiny icon under the search bar. *blind*
