Fancy a Mint?
I’ve just invested in Mint. I wasn’t sure if it’d be worth it and have been trying to justify the purchase for a few days, as well as convincing Karl that I wasn’t wasting my money (beating a dead horse there) but I’ve only had it about an hour and I love it already. It’s like awstats on crack..
I’ve already installed a crapload of “peppers” to extend the basic stuff that is already available, just in time to track hits to my “Writing Your Own CMS” article which is currently linked on the front page of pixel2life.com. It’s giving me all of the information I need to know and more — clicks in, where the people are going, how long they’re staying, IPs, feedburner stats, etc.
Big Brother is watching you now. ;)

There’s a Swedish javascript thing that is free that I think shows you alot of those things that Mint does. I guess I haven’t been thinking about how great it actually is.

Mint is the awesome-nest thing, evar. Too bad I’d have no use for it, and no money for it. …It seems all those ‘elite’ sites have Mint. …Congratulations.

Damn, I’m jealous. I was lucky my Mum even bought a £9/month hosting plan for me. Can’t wait until I get a job :P I’m too dumb to get awstats to work, I managed to use shell to do the perl thing, but it said something about a server config file and I gave up after that. Big Brother may be watching, but have we got microphones? :P

$30 for a mint? Gee, you can get them for 30p round my way, and they come in 3 different flavours! :) It’s a good idea though, *looks over shoulder* Now you can see what I get up to on your site. BTW, can you recommend any good books for learning PHP? Hmmm?
