BellaBook3.2 Released
There’s a new version of BellaBook available: BellaBook3.2. New features include:
- States whether email required, and whether or not it’s displayed
- Optional moderation feature
- Improved spam filtering
- Pagination as standard — in admin panel as well
- Entry management combined in admin panel
..as well as a couple of bug fixes that were reported to me. The Implementing Smilies tutorial has been updated to cater for both versions, and the Gravatar tutorial will follow shortly. There are no security updates to this version (because none are needed :p) so upgrading is not a necessity.
Edit: tutorialtastic now has a livejournal syndicated feed thingy. So, if you have a livejournal, add it to your friends list and you can keep up with tt.co.uk updates and new tutorials/etc. Thank you Katy! :)

Haha, I’m stalking your blog :P Fantastic, I’ll be using that sometime, when I can bother to get of my bum and do something with my site. Right now I’m too busy working on a blog for my cat. Teehee. Yes, I am mad. Well, have a nice weekend :)

Ah, a guest book script. xD How very useful, I may or may not use it. It all just depends for me whenever I think it is needed or not. x3 Congrats on fixing those bugs though.

Nice, I think BB is becoming more of an ‘advanced-advanced’ guestbook. :P

Quick question- does telpMail need to be modified at all for this version? I’m feeling lazy today and don’t particularly feel in the coding mood, so… :P

Phew… Finally got the new version implemented on both places I had 3.1. Took me… ooh, a little over 4 hours… Dammit, I always do this! Need to do work, not code. *Hangs head in shame*

Just thought I’d let you know.. I’m currently installing BellaBook and in the readme file it says to CHMOD “badwords.txt” to 666, when the file is named spamwords.txt. :)
