Wow, the start to this month has been busy. Karl and I have been running around sorting “something” out that I really want to tell everyone about but can’t yet because I don’t want to jinx it. I’ve got some major projects going on at work that all seem to have arrived at the same time but are fun in a way because it involves taking apart 6 layers of nested tables and the q*bee Halloween activity has just started for the month (which just had to happen at the same time as the monthly award nominations, bees of the week, newbees, etc etc.) *phew*
Oh, talking of the q*bee, take a look at this little doodaa that I made for this months activity:
It’s the first thing I’ve ever “pixelled” that has ever came out how I wanted it to come out and not as a blob of colour (although — don’t zoom in, because that’s all it really is). Oh, and while we’re still on the topic of creations and various stuff, I finished the Mazeguy Smilies fanlisting the other day. See how busy I’ve been?

I’m so excited for this Halloween q*bee activity!! I sat down last night and pixelled my patch – it came out just how I wanted it to as well, and in record timing. Now I just have to go around and find these hidden treats that are lurking in the q*bee site and on member’s sites as well…

Ack, you make my um two page essay for History seem like a doddle. x] I’m pretty happy with my patch too, minus the whole looking like a factory thing. :D But I’m going to try and make more so there’s a selection. (and maybe make some to donate)

Jem, you’re switching layouts all the time! Yes, I’ve been a lurker for quite some time … This is my favourite one thus far, though. :) Whenever I have tried to “pixel” was a year or two back; it did not turn out good, not even decent actually. I’ve been a fan of the q*bee for a looong time though; it amazes me what you do with just pixels. :)

I’m liking the layout. I know what you mean about jinxing things. I have this weird theory that if you enter a competition and forget about it, you’re more likely to win than if you enter one and can’t stop thinking about it. Congrats on your pixelling, I’ve never been quite so good at it myself :P

That pixel looks good, and I am serious. :P It is a really good attempt. The only kind of pixels I can make are those of the smiley variety, and it stops there. And I tell you, your skills at multi-tasking are amazing.

Wow, your layout is AMAZING, I also found your latest review quite interesting. That pixel-block is also really good. I can “pixelate” (I don’t think its a word), to an extent, but I haven’t had much time to do it lately. It is fun though, don’t you agree?
