My policy on privacy is simple: you have a right to privacy, and I promise to uphold that.

The jemjabella.co.uk site collects information from its users via the comment form on individual blog post entries, through the contact and registration forms. This information includes, but is not limited to: your name and e-mail address. This information is collected to provide you with a service, e.g. so that I can respond to your query, or approve your user account, and is entirely voluntary.

I will not sell or trade your details for marketing or any other purposes. I will not give away your details without your consent except where required or authorised by law.

You can request a copy of your data or request I remove it from my server at any time by writing to jem@jemjabella.co.uk

Cookies

A cookie is a small alphanumeric text file sent from a website that is stored on your computer. Cookies allow information to be saved between visits, e.g. to keep you logged in to a website or remember your order details in a shopping cart.

jemjabella.co.uk uses a cookie if you ask for your name, email address and/or website URL to be saved in the blog. This is opt-in on every post and isn’t necessary for functionality or ‘owt important.

jemjabella.co.uk also uses a small cookie to detect whether you are a new or returning visitor, so that I can monitor the effectiveness of my pages. This cookie is ‘GDPR friendly’ – it does not contain any identifiable information, it is not used or passed to any third party services, and isn’t used for remarketing or ad targeting. You can turn off this cookie by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser settings.
