I Passed and Other Things
News, news, random crap, etc.
- I passed the first module thingy of my course. It only (why is there no “<sarcasm>” tag?) took them 3 months to mark the damned
essayreport! Grade 2 Pass, whatever that means? - The thin looking kitty from the garden — so named Mr Scruffy, how original — has been fattening up on kibbles that I oh, accidentally keep leaving outside.
- The parent company of “BEKO”, the people who make the washing machine I’m probably going to get, are called “Arçelik” which I think looks like arse-lick.
- Since removing the archives/links etc from individual post pages, I’ve stopped getting mysql connection errors. Time to ponder what to do with my sidebar!
- My niece/nephew came over to the new house today. Oh boy, poor Hex didn’t know what to do with himself! He’s never seen kids before. He coped well though, no blood drawn…
Bla bla holiday, resting, cleaning, reading, gardening. That’s all

1) Congratulations!
2) Ooh gosh, how clumsy of you.
3) That does most definitely look like Arselick. o_O 4) How about putting some information about the current post, or some links to “related” posts? Something like that might be good.
Response posted: March 26th, 2008 at 10:16 pmCongratulations on the essay/report! Next time give ‘em a grade for how quickly they mark it.
Response posted: March 26th, 2008 at 10:31 pmFollowing Rachael’s format — 1) I hate it when it takes long to get my results, but congratulations! 3) Someone should have been more careful when choosing a name for the company
4) Make the sidebar into a chocolate bar.
Response posted: March 27th, 2008 at 1:14 am1) Congrats Jem on passing your module
2) Accidentally is a good thing
3) I thought so too O_O 4) Do what Rachael said
Kaylee’s idea is good too
5) When kids come to my house, I hide the puppies. I’m just scared that these kids would abuse ‘em
Oh and I lock up the gaming consoles too. meheheheh
Response posted: March 27th, 2008 at 1:48 amLove the additions to the front page sidebar. It’s good to more links to content on your sidebar.
Response posted: March 27th, 2008 at 2:25 amCongratulations on passing the first module :o) You so do not want one of those…I had one, it lasted almost 8 months before it started playing up, breaking down and eventually died on me at around the 14 month mark. Glad you had fun with the babies too. (Isn’t it nice when you get to send them home and peace is restored once again) hehe
Response posted: March 27th, 2008 at 8:01 amCongrats on the pass.

Response posted: March 27th, 2008 at 2:08 pmCongratulations on the Grade 2 pass! When do you start TT281? I got a grade 2 on TT280 too - I think TT382 was the only one that I got a distinction [grade 1] on, the rest were grade 2’s and one grade 3, I think… Seems forever ago now! :S Where’s my life going/gone?!
Response posted: March 27th, 2008 at 4:15 pm1) Congrats!
Although of course it was to be expected. 2) So, still no notice about its ownership? 3) LMAO Indeed it does. 4) How about related posts? Maybe even resources where the case is. 5) *demands pictures*
Response posted: March 27th, 2008 at 8:42 pm1. yayayay! gratz ^^ 2. sounds like it’ll be a inevitable adoption ^^ will hex be ok w/ that? 3. ./giggle i like how british people use the word arse. 4. err.. i have no advice ~_~ 5. poor hex, hopefully his tail is safe. that’s one thing i’ve always noticed about kids, they like to pull on tails ;P
Response posted: March 27th, 2008 at 9:27 pmMr Scruffy–That’s a really cute name
May it work out for the best!
Response posted: March 28th, 2008 at 3:57 pm1.) Congrats, Jem! I knew you could do it. 2.) Oh my! How forgetful of you. What could happen next? Maybe you might forget & take the little thing to the vet instead of Hex then put Mr. Scruffy in the house, lol. 3.) Washing Machines are horrible, but a necessary evil. 4.) Hmmm…you’ll figure it out. *wink* 5.) It is good for Hex to be around kids. As long as they don’t torture him. Kids play to rough with cats I have found.
Response posted: March 28th, 2008 at 6:10 pmCongrats on your report
Don’t you just feel much better now that it’s behind you? I certainly feel a lot better and lighter after a big task is lifted off my shoulders. lol @ the kitten getting fat because of the food that is accidentally left out. Your clumsiness astounds me. You deserve an evil-plotter award
Response posted: March 28th, 2008 at 7:36 pmArçelik is not the parent company of Beko, I know because they’re both Turkish companies. And Arçelik means something far from what you think.
