Looking Back

While fixing up the weblog to work perfectly in WordPress again (offline), I had a flick through the archives to make sure they were all displaying properly and came across my New Years Resolutions…

  1. Talk to Dad more than once in 2005.
  2. Talk to those friends whom I promised I

Heh, I must check back and see what my NYR were and see if i’ve made them or not. I don’t shop either - unless I really have to.

oh I remember that… Abigail still wants UP a lot but I manage to distract her… at 3 she should be over that. I’m glad your arm is better!! Hey, think of it as birth control!

Ah yes, New Years’ resolutions. Has it really been that long since we were all making those? I should go back and look at mine.. I’m not even sure if I remember half of them now! Little children.. ah, yes.. fun but exhausting at the same time.

You still have a couple of months. ;) I can’t even remember if I even made resolutions or what they were. I’m glad your arm is feeling better. :)

I thought that whole shopping thing sounded rather out of character…us geeks do all our important shopping at two in the morning at our favourite online store. Maybe falling out of the chair poses a danger. Trolley = stroller in Britspeak? My sister was a pain like that, too, and since my dad always runs away when my mother and I go shopping and my mother was always too busy holding all the crap she was going to buy to hold her, I was always stuck with that task. Needless to say, I must agree that it is not the most pleasant of tasks…

I’d say that’s pretty impressive, especially the one about saving up the money. I’ve never made resolutions myself (oh, except maybe once — or twice — when I promised I won’t miss prayers ever again), but resolution #5 would seem pretty easy. One packet of crisps per week. I hardly get one per month! T_T Yay for your arms getting well again. =) I’ve never had the strength to lift my brother up and down from shopping trolleys myself. (Then again, maybe he was a heavy baby.)

Glad you are fealing better! I have made this for your tutorial site fanlisting: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v197/ariel_thelittlemermaid/tuttastic_button.gif Not sure if you will like it, or want to use it, but it was a bit of boredom relief!! I am planning to join up to tutorialtistic:fantastic at some point but as I have SOOOO many essays to write, I am not allowing myself to open my FTP program to update pages, or I know i’ll end up with a completely new layout! I haven’t kept to any of my resolutions really, except to get a job. (I have 2 on the go now!!) Take care, Carly

I am never good at keeping resolutions, so I never make them. :P I always end up getting all disappointed at the end of the year anyway. Crisps? How I adore thee. I just polished off half a roll of Pringles this afternoon. :P Want some?

Jem, stop eating packets of chips! :P Ugh, I’m still recovering from a stomach bug. The very thought of packeted chips makes me want to be sick.

Woah I only made one main new years resolution- not to have a CUP of milo with 50mL of milk- to have a cup of milk with… 2 TEASPOONS of milo. I addicted, ya. lmao I’ve done really well so far! 2 teaspoons has turned into a highest average of 4, but hey, it’s better than 10!! Thanks so much for converting that damn image to a .gif. I own you one (not that I could help you…. or you’d need my help lmao). I use this free programme called GiFFY and it makes white spaces a greyish odd colour and I hate it. *mad* oh well. Thank you again!! I won’t use bmps anymore i promise. =D
