I bought the February 2008 copy of .net magazine today, and I’m flicking through just randomly until I spot this titbit in the expert advice section, in response to someone who wants a PHP login page:
You can do this by joining the password and the key together and by generating an MD5 checksum of the string. [..] A decent tutorial on this can be found at www.tutorialtastic.co.uk/tutorial/creating_a_secure_php_login_page
I got so excited, I squealed and punched the air :3
