First Post on New Laptop
After ignoring what could possibly be sound advice I decided to order the Dell Vostro 1000. It arrived today, and here I am typing away. Or rather, I'm "yping" away because I seem to have a bit of a dodgy T key. I'm not sure if it's because it's new and needs breaking in a bit, or whether it's a bit dodgy.. either way I opted for the 4 year warranty so if worst comes to the worst it will be repaired.
I am actually quite impressed. After having deleted all the shit that comes preinstalled I've started to have a play and it's nice 
It's a lot faster than the VAIO (my poor baby) for sure! I'd hope so too... it's a Turion 64 X2 TL56, 2Gb RAM, 120Gb SATA drive etc etc. *strokes*
Now to transfer my data off the Sony...
