Amazon Prime Trial

Those of you doing their Christmas shopping online might be interested to know that Amazon are offering a free month trial of their Prime delivery thingy. I got £8 delivery for nothing today. (Just remember to cancel it before they charge your card next month!)

    whoa thanks for pointing that out – I have the free trial of prime but I had no idea I need to cancel… obiously didn’t read the small or the big print…

    I could be wrong, Carly, but my experience with other free trials is always that if you don’t cancel, you get charged.

    Edit: yep, if I go in the My Account thing, it says:

    Your trial membership will upgrade to a full membership for £49 automatically on 28 Dec 2008.

    So double check :)

    I have Amazon Prime all year round and I buy so much stuff from them that it easily pays for itself. @_@ It’s wonderful.

    I think I’ve been stung for the £49 too.

    Plus I’ve canceled it now, so great, I bet I’ve paid £49 for nothing.

    If these shitty sites made things much clearer I’d be a lot happier – It’s all so confusing!
