Q. What are your opinions on the new Gelato CMS?
A. Never heard of it, but now it’s been mentioned I’m sure I’ll end up looking into it :p

Q. Do you know that jemjabella.net redirects to a 404?
A. No I didn’t, but I’ve fixed it now, thanks

Q. Do you still have a copy of your CMS on a local server? And was it OOPHP or something else?
A. Yes, I do, because eventually it will be resurrected. WordPress is not a permanent fix, although I may keep its database structure when I eventually find the time to go back to my own CMS.

And no, it was mostly procedural. Although I understand OO code I find difficulty in fitting it appropriately into my own projects so I’d rather just not use it at all. It’s all well and good just chucking everything in a class but if you don’t understand the whys and wheres, constructors, magic methods, exceptions etc.. why bother?

Q. what script should i use with flash if i want to make those games that gets peoples info,pic,whatever they put in it so that they can put it on their myspace/site/friendster etc?
A. Why would you want to? I mean, come on, myspace is for n00bs.

A. *insert mental breakdown here*

Q. Has there ever been a photo of you posted to your website?
A. Yeah, when I was about 16. It drew unwanted attention.

Q. Can a comment, unrelated to a blog post, considered as spam?
A. I sometimes mark blatantly unrelated comments as spam just to piss people off :p That’s what guestbooks and e-mail addresses are for.

Q. Sarai here. I’d like to personally thank you for giving me absolutely no options for tutorials to feature on my website since they’re already on tutorialtastic and written better than I ever could. So thank you for that.
A. Sorry Although tutorialtastic is lacking advice on updating, editing, theming/etc existing scripts and would be a popular topic if done right. I send quite a bit of traffic to those who have written tutorials on my various scripts, for instance.

Q. Where’s the style-switcher?? (I might be blind.)
A. The styleswitcher was disabled with the introduction of the latest theme (July 12th) because it does not work with the caching plugin I want to use.

Q. Is there an easy way to convert my Faqtastic Q&A’s to BellaBuzz? I’d like to switch but I don’t want to lose what I have already.
A. Not as yet, although now you’ve shown an interest I’ll add it to my massive to-do list.

Q. What is a good directory or clique script?
A. BellaBuffs can be used to manage a clique, although for a full-featured directory you would be better off waiting for the release of NinjaLinks.

Q. Is this ask and answer a wordpress pluggin? I’m having problems finding one that actually works.
A. Yes and no. It is a plugin, in that I converted my old script to work with WordPress, but it’s not fit for public consumption because it barely works. :p However, BellaBuzz (my free faq script) can be integrated into WordPress.

Q. Have you ever considered writing a novel?
A. No. I don’t have the attention span or the creativity needed. I prefer writing non-fiction.

Q. What do you think about Chyrp?
A. I don’t know, I haven’t used it.

Q. What is black & white and red all over?
A. A sunburnt penguin?
