Meal Planning (rest of August)

I mentioned on twitter the other day that having to sit down and write a meal plan once a week was getting to be a bit of a pain the arse, and that I was considering making it monthly. Presented with no overriding cons, that is what I’ve done. Below is my meal plan for the rest of August; subsequent plans will come on the 1st of every month. I’m leaving off costs, as I’m thinking about other (better) ways to analyse/track my spending on a monthly basis anyway.

  • 15th: Bangers & mash
  • 16th: Spaghetti bolognese
  • 17th: Homemade pizza
  • 18th: Roasted chicken & beetroot
  • 19th: Irish stew
  • 20th: Veggie curry
  • 21st: Macaroni cheese
  • 22nd: Fish fingers n chips
  • 23rd: Beef stir fry
  • 24th: Toasties & beans OR salad
  • 25th: Toad in the hole
  • 26th: Roast chicken
  • 27th: Chicken soup
  • 28th: Fish pie
  • 29th: Chili con carne
  • 30th: Quiche
  • 31st: Chicken ‘dippers’

  1. I will be over for dinner on the 21st and possibly the 30th. I will absolutely not be over on the 18th as beetroot is poisonous to me.

    … This is so handy, now I will know when to visit. Actually, if you plan for my next visit then you can add “cheesecake and curry takeout” to your meal plan and we’ll be set!
