T-Shirts I Really Really Want

[img: think globally act within local variable scope]Due to the unfavourable exchange rate I’ve not bought a geek t-shirt in… quite a while. I try not to think about it too hard, else I might weep. To save myself the time and frustration of having to re-search (not research) for funny t-shirts next time I have money and no pending bills, I’ve decided to make a list. These are the T-Shirts I Really Really Want

  1. Think Globally [img: %20 the final frontier]
  2. PEBKAC
  3. Enough Social Interaction
  4. Go away or I will replace you with a very small shell script
  5. %20 The Final Frontier

Hands up if you’re interested in starting a “buy Jem t-shirts” fund… (just kidding)

Warning

This post is over 6 months old. This means that, despite my best intentions, it may no longer be accurate. Age, motherhood, experience, loss... these things have all changed me from when this blog was started back in the heady (ha) days of my youth.

As much as I would like to go back and edit 10 years of archives to provide an insight into the 'me' of now — to update coding snippets and revise website advice — it would probably take years to do so (by which point I'd have to start again!) This would defeat the point of keeping these archives anyway.

Please take these posts for what they are: a brief look into my past, my history, my journey.

I wanna get the "I’m blogging this" t-shirt. I think it’s great :) And the "there’s no place like 127.0.0.1" shirt. The "I see dead pixels" shirt makes me lol. Every time. I also like the "I read your e-mail" shirt… hm yeah… t-shirts!

I like no. 3. I think I need that one also.

You are doing what I did with my wish list. It is there so I remember what I want, not for anyone to purchase off of.

Is it bad that I don’t get the first and last one? :(

You should buy me one since I’m so poor! You are the richest! Haha I like the third one the best.

The sad part is I actually read that and though "you know I might actually donate a couple bucks to that". Because I’m the kind of person that checks the "Yes" box to donate $1 to whatever charitable fund they’re promoting when I order stuff. I’m the kind of person that just likes to .. donate money, I guess. I dunno. But there you go, maybe you SHOULD start a fund.

I’d like to buy a geek t-shirt. Hopefully you’ll be able to save enough money and show us which one you’ve bought. :)

    A buy Jem t-shirts fund!? Hmm…maybe. :P Why don’t you get this t-shirt instead: http://www.ex-it.com.ar/misc/images/Evil_Inside.jpg

Since the exchange rate sucks, is there a way someone could just mail the shirt over to you? I imagine that it would be cheaper in the long run and you’d get the shirt(s) you want.
