Sleepy Cat
With the sun beating through the windows, this is all Hex ever does these days…
He loves his cushioned climbing contraption (a gift from my Mum) :)

This post is over 6 months old. This means that, despite my best intentions, it may no longer be accurate. Age, motherhood, experience, loss... these things have all changed me from when this blog was started back in the heady (ha) days of my youth.
As much as I would like to go back and edit 10 years of archives to provide an insight into the 'me' of now — to update coding snippets and revise website advice — it would probably take years to do so (by which point I'd have to start again!) This would defeat the point of keeping these archives anyway.
Please take these posts for what they are: a brief look into my past, my history, my journey.

Aww, precious. :) For some reason, our cats shy away from the sun – they always find a dark, secluded spot for their sleepies.

My cats have a climby thing like that! They also have a big red one. Kizzie refuses to have anything to do with it. Charley uses it as her evil lair. :P

Aww, he looks so comfortable! My cat sleeps on the back of our sofa when it gets the sun, so much so that there’s a permanent cat-shaped indent there!

Oh, this is such a cute picture. Hex reminds me of one of my cats. My mother bought a huge 3-tier playhouse for them, but they avoid it at all costs. They prefer cardboard boxes and tissue paper.

I always admired Hex’s shiny black coat. All the cats I’ve seen so far doesn’t look quite as healthy as Hex does.
