Cutenews is Shite
I’ve added a short note about Cutenews on my Unsafe PHP Scripts page.
Warning
This post is over 6 months old. This means that, despite my best intentions, it may no longer be accurate. Age, motherhood, experience, loss... these things have all changed me from when this blog was started back in the heady (ha) days of my youth.
As much as I would like to go back and edit 10 years of archives to provide an insight into the 'me' of now — to update coding snippets and revise website advice — it would probably take years to do so (by which point I'd have to start again!) This would defeat the point of keeping these archives anyway.
Please take these posts for what they are: a brief look into my past, my history, my journey.

All I need to say is, Thank you!

I’ve never been a fan of cutenews anyways.. I’ve just finally got the hang of wordpress! And haha, more holey than the bible.. That’s pretty holey!

I never did understand why so many people used Cutenews to begin with. I mean, I don’t think I’d ever rely on a script that has the word “cute” attached to it :/.
Oh, and “more holey than the bible!” = WIN :).

I’m sure that this will help show current Cutenews users what they’re getting themselves into. I’ll be sure to plug your article when I see someone having problems with it. :P

I think most people use Cutenews because (a) it maybe the only script they know and/or (b) everyone else is using it.

I was hosted on http://www.so-envio.us and she installed CN FOR us, and I got hacked. And she’s still installing it for everyone on her domain!
