First Post on New Laptop
After ignoring what could possibly be sound advice I decided to order the Dell Vostro 1000. It arrived today, and here I am typing away. Or rather, I’m “yping” away because I seem to have a bit of a dodgy T key. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s new and needs breaking in a bit, or whether it’s a bit dodgy.. either way I opted for the 4 year warranty so if worst comes to the worst it will be repaired.
I am actually quite impressed. After having deleted all the shit that comes preinstalled I’ve started to have a play and it’s nice :D It’s a lot faster than the VAIO (my poor baby) for sure! I’d hope so too… it’s a Turion 64 X2 TL56, 2Gb RAM, 120Gb SATA drive etc etc. *strokes*
Now to transfer my data off the Sony…

This post is over 6 months old. This means that, despite my best intentions, it may no longer be accurate. Age, motherhood, experience, loss... these things have all changed me from when this blog was started back in the heady (ha) days of my youth.
As much as I would like to go back and edit 10 years of archives to provide an insight into the 'me' of now — to update coding snippets and revise website advice — it would probably take years to do so (by which point I'd have to start again!) This would defeat the point of keeping these archives anyway.
