Freebie WordPress Themes

You know how I’m just so generous and lovely and awesome? Well, because of these wonderful traits of mine I’ve added some free WordPress themes. Only two at the moment, but I’ll gradually add to the collection. If anybody wants to see one of my old layouts made into a WP theme, let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

If anyone wants to test install them and see if I’ve missed out any obvious customisations or anything, I’d be incredibly grateful. I might even link-plug you or something.

Oh, and I found a groovy t-shirt/top. It looks long, and I love stripes (yes, I am aware horizontal stripes make you look fatter). Now all I need is some money in the bank. Harharhar. I’m actually quite surprised, because the store it’s at is a horrid, posh people store that I usually absolutely hate. Maybe I’m becoming less ‘common’ in my old age…

Warning

This post is over 6 months old. This means that, despite my best intentions, it may no longer be accurate. Age, motherhood, experience, loss... these things have all changed me from when this blog was started back in the heady (ha) days of my youth.

As much as I would like to go back and edit 10 years of archives to provide an insight into the 'me' of now — to update coding snippets and revise website advice — it would probably take years to do so (by which point I'd have to start again!) This would defeat the point of keeping these archives anyway.

Please take these posts for what they are: a brief look into my past, my history, my journey.

‘Chirpy and fashionable stripes lay horizontally across this cute top’ O, Marks, how could you? Nice T-shirt, though.

That certainly does look quite long! Lovely WP themes!

Bloody hell Marks and Sparks have gone “groovy”! Also, try H&M – I’ve got long Ts from there for a fiver before :)

OMG I love that shirt. We sell tops like that at my work – I adore the way they look! Long tops are much better than the “normal” short ones, in my opinion.

Ooh, the WP themes are funky. :D I love the t-shirt too, my mum has a draw full – she loves things like that. :P

M&S isn’t posh! I used to work there, there was probably one posh person in every 1000 that came in. Most were just normal average types… M&S has a lot of stuff in a lot of sizes, but it’s really expensive unless you’re lucky enough to find a sale… I mean, some of their tops were £32 (probably more now – this was 3 years ago) – I could get something nearly identical from Topshop for £20 cheaper. *Cough*rip off*cough* They charge so much but pay their staff so little… But hey, I’ll save that for another day, heheh. :P

Cute tee! Have you been in to try for size? Nice WP themes by the way.

Does this mean that god answered your letter?

    No, I haven’t bought the t-shirt yet.

The T-shirt looks very nice on the model, though it’s too long for me. I have enough of those. Your WP themes are amazing… by the way, considered showing a bigger demo? Not that I’d use them… because I’m just too stubborn and want to make my own… but I need inspiration from somewhere? :P

You beat me to it, heh. One of these days I’ll actually get around to making and releasing some WP themes…hopefully during my spring break that’s coming up… I’ll probably download yours and test them then as well. =) Put aside some of your next paycheck towards that top, if you can?

That’s a cute shirt…I’m having a terrible time trying to find tops that fit as well. I haven’t resorted to writing to God yet, though…maybe I should try it (since it looks like it worked in your case :D ). I really like your wordpress themes. One of these days I’m actually going to install wordpress…*when I’m done procrastinating, which may be never*

I like the 2nd WP theme the most! It reminds me of a peaceful summer night. The tee looks very sailor-like ;-) :P

Those are some wonderful WP themes that you made Jem, I’ll definatly be using some of them. That tee is really cute, I hope you can afford it soon so you can start enjoying it.
